This was my first big hike.  I grew up hearing about this place, and even though it's half an hour from home I never took the time to visit.  Within five minutes I decided to come back when it was raining.  The trip is absolutely incredible.  On a cool August morning the lowest portion of the trail felt like a rain forest.  The cliff shelter itself is unbelievable.  I'm going to return after the leaves change and spend a little more time exploring.
