This was just a nice little Labor Day weekend afternoon hike.  I hung out at the ranger station for a while and avoided tourists for the most part.  In August when I did the IRT, I was the only car in the parking area.  On Labor Day weekend, however, it was full and overflowing (the parking area, not the trail).  Several people came off the IRT while I was there, but I had the Overlook trail to myself.
