The Song of Wandering Alman

And then one day I decided to go outside...


It was in the summer of 2017 when I couldn't take sitting in front of a screen any more, so I decided to take a walk.  Sure, it was hot and humid, being summer and Arkansas.  Then a few minutes turned into a mile, then two, then four, then a late afternoon, then a Saturday.  And it just kept getting better.  
A bottle of water turned into a backpack and down the road turned into the Buffalo National River.  As the miles pass the years and pounds drop off and I feel better than I did twenty years ago.  Every trip brings new adventures, so here are a few (dozen?) pictures and an odd thought or two.
